A simple but tasty dip using chickpeas (or garbanzo beans) that can be spread onto crackers or even bread. Feel free to call it hummus.
What You Need
1 15.5-oz. can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained
2 tablespoons onion, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
What To Do
1. Mash chickpeas until smooth.
2. Stir in oil and lemon juice.
3. Add chopped onions and salt and gently mix.
