You don't always have time to create a bean dip purely from scratch. This Easy Bean Dip recipe includes a shortcut: it starts with a can of refried beans. This recipe makes about 3 cups.
What You Need
1 16-ounce can refried beans
1 8-ounce package processed American cheese, cubed
1/2 cup medium chunky salsa
Hot sauce to taste
What To Do
1. Combine refried beans, cheese, salsa and hot sauce in a large saucepan.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently to keep bottom from burning, for about 5 minutes (until cheese is melted and mixture is thoroughly heated).
3. Transfer to serving bowl and enjoy.
