Green Pepper Salsa Recipe
Green bell peppers combine with other great flavors in this Green Pepper Salsa recipe.

What You Need
• 4 green bell peppers, cored, seeded, chopped
• 1 cup tomato puree
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 7 sprigs fresh cilantro, chopped
• 1 clove garlic, mashed through garlic press
• 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
• 1 tablespoon minced fresh oregano (or substitute 1 teaspoon dried)

What To Do
1. Combine green peppers, tomato puree, olive oil and onion in a 4-cup microwave-safe measure.

2. Cover with plastic wrap (vented) and microwave on full power until the peppers are just tender, about 4 1/2 minutes.

3. Uncover; let cool 5 minutes.

4. Transfer to bowl and add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
