This Mexican Salsa recipe is tomato-based with hot sauce, onion and cayenne pepper along to kick it up a notch. If desired, you can increase the heat level a little further by chopping up a couple jalapenos and adding to the mix.
What You Need
1 15-ounce can tomatoes, drained
1/2 small onion
1/4 cup green chili peppers
4 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
1 garlic clove
1/2 tablespoon vinegar
1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
What To Do
1. Add all ingredients to blender or food processor.
2. Process just until blended together (mixture should not be smooth, but retain some chunkiness).
3. Cover and refrigerate. serve chilled.
