Chocolate Carrot Cake Recipe
This Chocolate Carrot Cake recipe makes 6 servings.
What You Need
1 1/2 cups finely grated carrots
3/4 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cups canola oil
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 cups wholewheat flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
What To Do
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly oil an 8x8 square baking pan.
2. Combine carrots, sugar and oil in a large bowl. Pour boiling water over top of carrot mixture.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, then add to carrot mixture and mix well.
4. Pour batter into prepared baking pan and bake 35 minutes.
