What You Need
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, separated
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups cake flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
What To Do
1. Preheat oven to 375F. Grease layer cake pans.
2. Cream butter and sugar, then add beaten egg yolks and beat well.
3. Add milk and mix.
4. Sift dry ingredients together, then add to mixture.
5. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
6. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake 20 minutes.
7. Allow to cool completely before icing.
