Yummy Sugar Cookies Recipe

This Yummy Sugar Cookies recipe yields about 72 cookies.
What You Need
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
What To Do
1. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. Add butter, powdered sugar and sugar to a large mixing bowl and beat at medium speed until creamy.
3. Add egg and vanilla and beat until well mixed.
4. Reduce mixer speed to low, then add flour, cream of tartar and baking soda. Beat until ball forms.
5. Tear off pieces of dough and shape into balls about 1-inch across. Place balls on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.
6. Bake 7-9 minutes.
