What You Need
1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
1 ready graham cracker pie crust
1 30-oz. can cherry pie filling
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter or margarine at room temperature
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground mace
What To Do
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Brush bottom and both sides of crust evenly with egg yolk; bake on baking sheet about 3 minutes or until light brown.
3. Remove crust from oven. Spoon pie filling into crust.
4. In medium bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, butter, lemon juice and spices with fork until combined. Sprinkle evenly over filling.
5. Bake on baking sheet until topping is golden and filling bubbles at edges (approximately 30-35 minutes). Cool on wire rack before cutting.
