This Basic Pecan Pie recipe makes one 9-inch pie.
What You Need
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
3 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
What To Do
1. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. To a large mixing bowl add corn syrup, brown sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and salt and mix.
3. Add pecans and stir, then pour into pie shell.
4. Bake 45-50 minutes.
