Buttermilk Pecan Pie Recipe

What You Need
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 eggs
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
What To Do
1. Preheat oven to 300F.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar (add sugar 1/2 cup at a time).
3. Blend in vanilla, then add eggs one at a time.
4. Combine flour and salt and add in small doses to the creamed mixture. Then mix in buttermilk.
5. Sprinkle pecans in bottom of pie crust and pour custard mix over top.
6. Bake 1 hour, 30 minutes. Allow to cool.
