This Fudge Pecan Pie recipe makes 8 servings.
What You Need
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup Hershey's cocoa
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1 cup chopped pecans, optional
1 cup pecan halves
What To Do
1. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. Melt butter over low heat.
3. Add cocoa and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
4. Stir in sugar, salt, eggs and corn syrup. Blend thoroughly.
5. Stir in chopped nuts, if desired. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
6. Place pecan halves over top. Bake 40 minutes.
7. Let stand at least 8 hours before serving.
