Perfect Pecan Pie Recipe
This Perfect Pecan Pie recipe makes one 9-inch pie.

What You Need
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup butter or margarine
• 3 tablespoons Water

• 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 4 eggs
• 3/4 cup light corn syrup
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 1/4 cup pecan halves

What To Do
Heat oven to 375F.

• Crust: Combine flour and salt, then cut in butter until flour begins to form small crumbles. Add water and turn until dough forms ball. Using hands, press ball down to flatten, forming round, thick disc of dough. The switch to rolling pin and roll dough on lightly floured surface. Trim dough into circle that is 1-inch large in diameter than a 9-inch pie tin. Carefully press dough into pie tin, folding under the edges.

• Filling: Add butter and sugar to mixing bowl and cream. Add eggs, syrup and vanilla and beat. Stir in pecans, then pour filling into unbacked pie shell.

Bake for 5 minutes in preheated oven, then reduce heat to 325 and back 45 minutes more.
