Southern Pecan Pie Recipe

What You Need
1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon. sugar
3 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups dark corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup pecan halves
What To Do
1. Preheat oven to 425F.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar, then mix in beaten eggs and beat well.
3. Add corn syrup, vanilla and pecans, stirring well to blend.
4. Pour into pie shell.
5. Bake 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325F and bake another 45 minutes.
6. Allow to cool before serving.
