What You Need
1 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
What To Do
1. In a large bowl mix lemon juice, vegetable oil, vinegar, oregano and garlic powder.
2. Place chicken pieces in the bowl, season with salt and pepper. Cover and allow to marinate for at least one hour (2-3 hours is better).
3. Prepare outdoor grill (preheat to high, or allow coals to glow red; lightly oil grate).
4. Add chicken to the grill and cook until no longer pink and juices run clear. Throughout cooking, periodically brush chicken pieces with marinade.
