What You Need
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 tbsp water
2.5 pound beef chuck roast, boneless
2 cups hot water
1 cube beef bouillon
2 tbsp orange juice
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/8 tsp pepper
What To Do
1. Prepare in a heavy, deep skillet. Simmer onion in 2 tablespoons water. Add roast and brown on both sides.
2. In a bowl or cup, combine bouillon cube and hot water until dissolved.
3. Add orange juice, allspice and pepper and combine. Pour over meat.
4. Cover skillet and simmer about two hours.
