Ham and Cheese Omelette Recipe

This Ham and Cheese Omelette Recipe makes 3 servings.
What You Need
6 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup finely-chopped ham
1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash freshly-ground black pepper
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
What To Do
1. In a medium bowl, mix eggs, milk, ham, onion and seasonings.
2. Place a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat and melt butter. Pour egg mixture into skillet.
3. As the omelette begins to set, lift up edges with spatula so uncooked portion of eggs can flow under the cooked portion. When eggs are set but top is still moist, sprinkle 3/4 cup of cheese over top. Fold one edge of the omelette over the cheese, then sprinkle with remaining cheese.
4. Slide onto plate and cut into portions.
