This Bronzed Tilapia recipe makes 4 servings.
What You Need
2/3 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/3 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 teaspoon white pepper
1/3 teaspoon ground cumin
1/3 teaspoon dried basil
1/3 teaspoon dried oregano
1 1/3 dashes black pepper
1 1/3 dashes dried thyme
4 talapia fillets
Vegetable cooking spray
What To Do
1. Add all seasonings to small bowl and combine.
2. Sprinkle each side of tilapia fillets with seasoning mixture, about 1/2 teaspoon per fillet, spreading on both sides of fillets evenly.
3. Preheat 10-inch skillet over high to 400F. Spray the top side of each fillet evenly with vegetable cooking spray. Place the fillets sprayed side down into skillet, two at a time.
4. Reduce heat to medium; cook 2 minutes, then turn fillets and cook 2 minutes more. Repeat process from start (heating over high, etc.) for remaining two fillets.
