Lemon Parmesan Tilapia Recipe

This Lemon Parmesan Tilapia recipe makes 6 servings.
What You Need
2 1/2 pounds tilapia fillets
3 teaspoons butter or margarine, softened
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
What To Do
1. Rinse tilapia fillets in cold water; drain thoroughly.
2. Put into broiling pan and top with butter or margarine and 2 teaspoons lemon juice. Broil about 4 inches from heat source approximately 5-6 minutes (fish should flake easily when tested with fork and have an opaque appearance).
3. While fish is broiling, combine mayo, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and cheese.
4. When fish has tested done, top each portion with 1-2 tablespoons of sauce. Return fish under broiler for another 2-3 minutes, or until sauce puffs and turns golden brown.
5. Transfer tilapia to serving plate and garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley.
