Strawberry Buttermilk Pancakes Recipe
This Strawberry Buttermilk Pancakes recipe makes 15 4-inch pancakes.
What You Need
2 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sliced strawberries (thawed and drained if using frozen)
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
What To Do
1. Preheat skillet to 350F.
2. Beat eggs, then add buttermilk, baking soda and 1/4 cup melted butter.
3. Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, then fold in strawberries.
4. Use remaining butter to lightly brush skillet surface between each batch of pancakes.
5. Pour batter, 1/4 cup at a time, onto hot skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges are dry, then turn cook another 2-3 minutes.
