Barbecue Beef Sandwiches Recipe
This Barbecue Beef Sandwich recipe makes 6 sandwiches.
What You Need
2 pounds ground beef
1 cup onion, chopped
2 cups water
3/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
What To Do
1. Add ground beef and onion to a large skillet and brown beef. Drain and set beef aside.
2. Add water, ketchup and chili powder to skillet. Bring to boil, reduce heat, and allow to simmer for 6 minutes.
3. Return beef/onion mixture to skillet and add mustard, plus salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10 more minutes.
4. Serve as a sandwich on hoagie buns, or serve open-faced over your favorite bread.
