Golden Cream Potato Soup Recipe
This Golden Cream Potato Soup recipe makes 6 servings.
What You Need
1 1/2 cups boiling water
3 cups diced potatoes
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup shopped onion
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
1/2 large block Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 cube chicken bouillon
What To Do
1. Add potatoes, celery, onion, parsley, seasonings and bouillon cube to boiling water; cover and cook until potatoes are tender.
2. Blend flour and a small amount of milk and stir into vegetables.
3. Add remaining milk; continue cooking until mixture thickens.
4. When thickened, add Velveeta. Stir until Velveeta melts, then serve.
