Here's a basic cornbread recipe for large gatherings - it makes two "loaves".
What You Need
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
1/3 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs, beaten
What To Do
1. Preheat oven to 400F and spray two 9x13 casserole dishes with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Mix all ingredients and pour into prepared dishes.
3. Bake 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.
