Many cornbread recipes call for using corn niblets or creamed corn. This Classic Cornbread recipe gives you the option. Use the creamed corn ... or don't. It comes out great either way.
What You Need
1 cup flour
1 cup yellow corn meal
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
4 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup oil
1 cup milk
1/2 can cream corn (optional)
What To Do
1. Preheat oven to 425F and grease a 10-inch baking pan.
2. Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
3. Add eggs, oil and milk and stir to blend.
4. Pour into pan and bake 25 minutes.
