Southwest Cornbread Recipe

What You Need
1 cup yellow corn meal
1 17-oz. can cream corn
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 4-oz. can diced green chiles
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2/3 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
What To Do
1. Grease 9-inch square baking dish. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. Combine corn meal, salt, baking soda, buttermilk, eggs, corn and butter and mix well.
3. Pour half of the batter into the baking dish.
4. Sprinkle with cheese and chiles. Cover with remaining batter.
5. Bake for 40 minutes.
