Simple Spanish Rice Recipe
With only five ingredients, this Simple Spanish Rice recipe is easy to handle and makes five servings.
What You Need
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 1/2 cups uncooked white rice
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup chunky salsa
What To Do
1. In a large, heavy skillet, heat oil over medium, then stir in onion and cook 5 minutes or until tender.
2. Add rice to skillet and stir. Cook until rice begins browning, stirring frequently.
3. Add chicken broth and salsa to skillet. Reduce heat, cover.
4. Simmer 20 minutes or until liquid has been absorbed.
