Cornbread Sausage Stuffing Recipe
What You Need
1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 cup celery, chopped
3/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup butter or margarine
4 teaspoons chicken bouillon
1 2/3 cups water
1 pound sausage, bulk, browned and drained
1 16-oz. package cornbread stuffing mix
1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
What To Do
1. In a large skillet, cook mushrooms, celery and onion in margarine until
tender. Add water and bouillon; cook until bouillon dissolves.
2. In a large bowl, combine mushroom mixture and remaining ingredients; mix well.
3. Loosely stuff turkey just before roasting, if desired. Place remaining stuffing in greased baking dish and bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
