This Herb Stuffing recipe makes 10 cups.
What You Need
1 large onion, chopped
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup celery, finely chopped
2 teaspoons granulated chicken bouillon
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/4 cups water
12 slices of white bread, cubed
3/4 cup parsley
What To Do
1. In a medium skillet, saute onion in butter until soft.
2. Add celery, chicken bouillon, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper and water, stir, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
3. Add bread and parsley to a large mixing bowl, pour liquid mixture over the top and toss.
4. Makes enough to stuff a 12-pound bird.
