Raisin Walnut Stuffing Recipe

This Raisin Walnut Stuffing recipe makes 10 cups.
What You Need
2 cups seedless raisins
1 1/2 cups water
2 cups celery, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon granulated chicken bouillon
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon powdered Sage
1/4 teaspoon pepper
16 slices white bread, cubed
2 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped
What To Do
1. Simmer raisins in water for 1 minute, then set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt butter and saute celery and onion until soft.
3. Add chicken broth, salt, sage and pepper and stir.
4. In a large bowl, toss bread cubes and walnuts. Add raisin-water mixture and toss lightly until evenly moist.
Recipes makes enough to stuff a 12-pound bird.
