Artichoke with Rosemary Sauce Recipe
This Artichoke with Rosemary Sauce recipe makes 4 servings.
What You Need
4 medium globe artichokes
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 teaspoon chopped rosemary leaves
1 teaspoon lemon juice
What To Do
1. Prepare and steam artichokes as directed on packaging.
2. Melt margarine and stir in rosemary and lemon juice.
3. Pluck leaves out one at a time, dip base of leaf into rosemary sauce, and enjoy!
NOTE: To eat, pull out a leaf and draw it between your teeth, scraping off the meaty portion. Continue until all the leaves are gone and you see the small center cone of light green leaves. Cut these leaves from the cone, slice off and discard the fuzzy choke, and the "heart," or meaty portion, of the artichoke will be visible. Slice up the artichoke heart and dip in rosemary sauce.
