Asparagus with Shallots Recipe
 
This Asparagus With Shallots recipe makes 4 servings.

What You Need
• 1 1/2 pounds asparagus
• Dash of salt
• 3 teaspoons fragrant peanut oil or olive oil
• 2 shallots, peeled and minced
• Dash of finely chopped parsley

What To Do
1. Snap off tough ends of asparagus stalks.

2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, then add asparagus. Boil gently about 5-8 minutes (asparagus should be green and tender but still firm). Remove and drain on towel.

3. Place asparagus on platter and drizzle oil over top.

4. Sprinkle with shallots, parsley and salt.
