Lemon Asparagus and Carrots Recipe

This Lemon Asparagus and Carrots recipe makes 6 servings.
What You Need
1/2 pound carrots, small
8 oz. asparagus spears, frozen
Dash of lemon pepper
1/8 cup lemon juice
What To Do
1. Wash, trim and peel carrots, then place in steamer basket above boiling water. Cover; steam approximately 15 minutes, until crisp-tender. Rinse in cold water and drain.
2. Meanwhile, cook asparagus according to package instructions. Then rinse in cold water and drain.
3.Place carrots and asparagus in containers with covers; cover and chill.
4. When ready to serve, arrange asparagus and carrots on serving platter, sprinkle with lemon juice and dash of lemon pepper.
