Herbed Cheese Mashed Potatoes Recipe
This Herbed Cheese Mashed Potatoes recipe makes 8 servings.
What You Need
3 pounds potatoes, peeled and quartered
1/4 cup margarine
3/4 cup green onions, sliced
1 tablespoon basil, chopped
1 tablespoon chives, chopped
1 tablespoon dill, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup milk
What To Do
1. Cook potatoes until tender (20-25 minutes) in large pot of salted boiling water. Drain.
2. Add margarine and green onions to pot and cook for 1 minute over medium heat.
3. Stir in remaining herbs and seasonings, then return potatoes to pot and place over low heat.
4. Add cheese and milk and mash with potato masher.
