Glazed Sweet Potatoes Recipe

This Glazed Sweet Potatoes recipe makes 8 servings.
What You Need
2 1/2 pounds fresh sweet potatoes
1/4 cup margarine
4 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/2 cups pecans, chopped
What To Do
1. Halve sweet potatoes crosswise and place in large pot with just enough water to cover. Lightly salt the water and bring to boil; boil until tender, about 30 minutes. Drain.
2. Preheat oven to 350F.
3. After potatoes have cooled slightly, cut into quarter-inch-thick slices.
4. Spray a 1 1/2-quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and place half the potato slices in dish. Top with half the margarine and half the brown sugar. Repeat layers, and top it off by sprinkling pecans.
5. Bake 20-25 minutes or until pecans have begun to brown.
